3 Arrested in Bradenton Drug Sweep

Three people face drug charges following a recent crackdown on drug activity in the Bradenton area.

Acting on tips and complaints from residents, the Bradenton Police Department obtained two search warrants for apartments within the city limits. Those warrants were served Tuesday by the Narcotics Unit, SWAT team and Gang Unit, an email to media stated.

The two locations for the warrants and the individuals arrested were:

2114 10th St West, Apartment A

Orenthail J. Roden, 37

• Charges: possession of rock cocaine and possession of marijuana

James C. Langley, 32

• Charges: possession of rock cocaine

1208 21st Avenue West, Apartment B

Joyce Brown, 35

• Charges: possession of marijuana
