4 Arrests Made in Bradenton Drug Bust

A home on 12th Avenue West was the target of a recent police investigation.

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Police Department has announced four arrests and the removal of a baby from its mother’s custody following a two-week investigation into alleged drug activity at a home on 12th Avenue West.

According to the agency, its officers served a search warrant at 1416 12th Ave. W. Thursday. Those arrested were:

Anthony Graves, 28, a registered sexual offender

  • Charges: unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, tampering with physical evidence and possession of synthetic marijuana

Heaven Graves, 18

  • Charges: possession of rock cocaine with intent to sell, possession of synthetic marijuana with intent to sell and child neglect

Paul Roberts, 56

  • Charges: possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an out of county warrant for failure to appear

Peter Graves, 44

  • Charges: possession of drug paraphernalia

In an email to media, the police department said Child Protective Services was called in and took protective custody of Heaven Graves’ 11-month-old child because of illegal narcotic sales occurring at the home.

Anthony Graves was convicted on attempted sexual abuse charges in New York state in 2007, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records.
