BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Blue Foundation’s annual “Fill the Truck” toy drive event will take place outside Bradenton Police Department headquarters at 100 10th Street W. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officers and Civilian staff will collect new, unwrapped toys for underserved children in the Bradenton community.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, this year’s drive will feature a drive-thru gift drop off, limiting contact with each other while still providing a chance to give back to the community, Bradenton police said in a news release.

Those unable to attend the event can donate a toy by dropping it off in a toy bin in the police headquarters lobby.

There is also an Amazon Gift List that can be found online here. Gifts purchased through Amazon will be shipped directly to the Bradenton Police Department and given to a child in the community.
