Armed Robber Strikes Jersey Mike's Subs

BRADENTON, FL – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday evening at Jersey Mike’s Subs in Bradenton.

According to the agency, an employee at the 5820 Ranch Lake Blvd. eatery was in the process of closing the store when a man entered, brandishing a pistol. The man demanded cash and threw a sack at the employee, an email from the agency said.

Once the employee filled the bag with cash, the man ran out the back door, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall. He weighs in around 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a Dallas Cowboys ball cap. The man’s face was covered with a bandana.
