In the Manatee County District 7 County Commission primary race there were only two people who qualified for the primary both were Republicans. George Kruse won the primary.
Many may have thought that since George Kruse won the primary, and there were no Democratic challengers he would automatically be seated on the County Commission.

Should Mr. Kruse receive fewer votes than the write-in candidate, that write-in candidate will be elected to the County Commission District 7 at Large seat.
If you voted for George Kruse in the primary election, be sure you vote for him in the general election on November 3, 2020.
If you did not vote in the primary election, be sure you complete this section of your ballot, so the district 7 seat is filled.
