Big Summer Golf Card Holder Leland Easter of Nokomis captures July’s $1,000 grand prize in Big Money Tour

Big Summer Golf Card® holder Leland Easter of Nokomis, Fla. took home the $1,000 cash grand prize for the July Big Money Tour℠ drawing, which was held at Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club at Bobcat Trail in North Port, Fla. Nine other local golfers were also awarded cash, rounds of golf or golf equipment prizes totaling $5,000.

About The Big Money Tour

The Big Money Tour offers golfers a six month challenge to experience upwards of 18 participating courses over a three County region including Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte.

By showcasing these local favorite courses the Big Summer Golf Card brings added golf play May to October when the traditional demand for play is lower. Each year the Big Money Tour generates over 30,000 rounds of golf among the participating courses.

This year eighteen courses are participating. Participation is easy as every Big Summer Golf Card holder is pre-registered and merely has to play in with at least four rounds of golf in a given month at one or more of the participating courses. The more rounds played the more entries can be earned.

Drawings are held on the 15th of every month for the preceding month and prizes are awarded to the winners at a special presentation at one of the exclusive participating courses.

Every month between May and October, five golfers share in $2,500 of cash prizes, which include a Grand Prize of $1,000 plus two-$500 and two-$250 cash prizes. In addition, five golfers receive prizes ranging from golf certificates for complimentary rounds of golf at participating courses or new top of the line golf equipment.
