Bradenton Cuban Restaurant's Food Network Debut Set For June 6

TV star in March to film an episode of his popular show, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." Episode No. 1205, entitled "Southern Flavor," will air at 9 p.m. on Monday, June 6.
Owner Jose Baserva says business has been "insane" since word first got out that his restaurant was chosen for a visit from Fieri's signature 1967 Camaro, and he's bracing for even more insanity once the show airs.

"It's pretty wild, ain't it?" Baserva said Saturday, hours after finding out the episode's air date via e-mail.
Baserva said he's not planning a big viewing party — after all, he's got to work the next day.

The restaurant, at 8799 Cortez Rd. W., was selected to appear on the popular show after at least 12 loyal customers e-mailed the Food Network requesting Fieri come to Bradenton. The show's crew spent two exhaustive days filming at Jose's in late February and early March, all for a segment that will be less than 15 minutes long.
According to the show's website, also appearing on the June 6 episode will be Broken Record of San Francisco and Bang! of Denver.
