Bradenton Extends Alternate Yard Waste And Recycling Pickup
Due to a driver shortage, the city announced it will continue its alternate yard waste and recycling pickup through October.
BRADENTON, FL — Due to a shortage in CDL drivers, the City of Bradenton is extending its alternate week schedule for yard week and recycling into October.
Garbage collection continues on its normal schedule. “We will continue to review our staffing on a weekly basis throughout the month,” the city said on its website. “Our efforts to hire drivers in continuing and we will review our ability to return to the regular collection schedule on a weekly basis.”

- Sept. 27-Oct. 1 – Yard waste collection; no recycling collection
- Oct. 4-8 - Recycling collection; no yard waste collection
- Oct. 11-15 - Yard waste collection; no recycling collection
- Oct. 18-22 - Recycling collection; no yard waste collection
- Oct. 25-29 - Yard waste collection; no recycling collection
