Bradenton Man Critically Injured in Pedestrian Crash
The accident happened Monday night.
A 58-year-old Bradenton man is in critical condition following a pedestrian accident on State Road 70.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened Monday around 6:25 p.m. as a Ford Explorer driven by Sarah Jongsma, 26, of Bradenton was heading west on State Road 70. Jongsma was in the left turn lane approaching the intersection with U.S. 41. Harry Berrios was attempting to cross the street at the time and was struck by the left front of the Explorer.
Berrios was taken to Blake Medical Center in critical condition.
