A 30-year-old man has been arrested for vehicular homicide after troopers say he caused a crash that killed another driver.

BRADENTON, FL -- A 30-year-old man has been arrested for vehicular homicide after troopers say his reckless driving caused a crash that killed another driver and injured two people including a 3-year-old girl.
The crash happened around 10:38 a.m. Thursday, July 5 on Ninth Avenue Northwest at 75th Street Northwest.
Troopers said Bran-don Mulrain-Williams was driving south on 75th Street in a Chevrolet Cobalt, approaching Ninth Avenue, when he tried to pass an Audi in the left turn lane driven by an 18-year-old woman. Mulrain-Williams maneuvered into the southbound lane of 75th Street, attempting to pass the Audi, but his car's right front tire hit the Audi's left rear tire, according to troopers.

The collision caused the Cobalt to flip, striking a Toyota Solara driven by Petro Chyshkevych, 43, of Bradenton.
The Solara, which had been heading south on 75th Street, traveled onto the west shoulder of the road, hitting a tree before coming to a rest. Glass from Mulrain-Williams' Cobalt landed on the roof of a Jaguar that was stopped at the light on eastbound Ninth Avenue.
