Bradenton Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Tree: Police

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A Bradenton man died Friday night when his car crashed into a tree in Manatee County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to police, the 23-year-old man was driving north on 87th Street East shortly before 6:15 p.m. when the crash occurred.

Police said the man was negotiating a curve when his car veered left, drove onto the shoulder and collided with a tree.

The man died at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
