Bradenton Homicide Victim Identified
The incident happened on 60th Avenue Terrace West Friday afternoon.

BRADENTON, FL -- The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in Bradenton.
One person was shot and killed in the incident at 513 60th Ave. Terrace W., the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media. One other person suffered injuries that appear to be not life-threatening, the agency said.
Deputies say they received a call about a shooting around 12:58 p.m. When they arrived at the address, they found Julio Tellez, 26, dead just inside the front door. Juan Montonya, 29, had been shot in the forearm and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A third man, Eduardo Alvarez, 29, was not injured.

The case remains under investigation with no arrests made as of yet. Deputies say they believe the incident is not related to a double homicide that also occurred in Bradenton earlier in the day.
