Bradenton Teen's Homicide Under Investigation
There are no immediate witnesses to the 16-year-old's death.

The Bradenton Police Department is asking anyone with information in the Monday morning death of a 16-year-old boy to come forward.
According to the police department, the agency received a call about shots fired around 12:27 a.m. from the 12000 block of East 21st Street. When officers arrived, they found a juvenile on the ground, suffering from “apparent gunshot injuries to the upper body.”
Police officers performed CPR and the city’s fire rescue and EMS crews also came out to the scene. The victim, however, was pronounced dead at 12:51 a.m.

Police say they have no witnesses at this time. The Manatee County Homicide Investigative Unit has been called in to help.
The teen has been identified as Justin Fabien. His death is the third homicide within Bradenton since the year began.
