Bradenton Trash Pickup Changed For Memorial Day

Bradenton residents will also find city offices closed in honor of the Memorial Day holiday.

BRADENTON, FL — Bradenton residents preparing for the long Memorial Day weekend might want to take note of some changes to the city’s trash collection schedule in honor of the holiday.

The city has announced that household garbage and yard waste services will not be offered on Monday, May 30. Residents whose trash is normally picked up on Monday will have to wait until Tuesday. Folks who have their trash picked up regularly on Tuesday will instead have their waste collected on Wednesday.

The city says there won’t be an interruption in recycling services.
