Burglar Batters Holmes Beach Woman Who Walked In On Him

HOLMES BEACH, FL – Holmes Beach Police are seeking a who violently attacked a resident when she came home and surprised him burglarizing her home Thursday, June 28.

At 1:58 p.m., the resident returned to her home in the 500 block of 75th Street and found a man in her master bedroom in the process of stealing from her.

Upon seeing the woman, the burglar attacked, leaving the woman with fractures and bruises. He then fled the house.

The resident was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The robber is white and was wearing a painter's mask.
