Somewhere along the way, Halloween got complicated.
We’re bringing back the good stuff.
Remember when Halloween meant costumes, glowing pumpkins, running around with your friends, and carrying so much candy that the handle on your plastic pumpkin was basically a structural concern?
That’s the kind of night we have in mind.
Join families from across Manatee County and the surrounding area for TRUNK OR TREAT at 53rd Avenue Church of Christ!
Decorated trunks. Kids in costumes. Games. Pumpkins. Neighbors laughing together. And enough treats to make this feel like the Halloween nights you remember.
And yes, there will be candy.
Lots of candy.
But we should probably also mention…
Cotton candy.
Popcorn.
Hot dogs.
And then, naturally, more candy.
Basically, it’s good old-fashioned Halloween fun without making things complicated.
