Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day In Manatee County

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — St. Patrick’s Day, celebrated on March 17, is just days away, and even with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many Bradenton-area bars, restaurants and organizations are recognizing the holiday.

If you’re looking for an evening of Irish music, green beer, and corned beef and cabbage, here are some upcoming local events to check out.

McGrath’s Irish Ale House

Enjoy Irish music in an outdoor setting at McGrath’s Irish Ale House, located at 8110 Lakewood Main Street in Bradenton, Wednesday from 1 p.m. until midnight. Beer trucks will serve green beer, Guinness and Irish food. Irish cocktail specials are also available.

Woody’s River Roo

Ellenton’s Woody’s River Roo will offer a traditional Irish menu all day Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Whiskey Dregs will also take the stage from 1 to 5 p.m. playing Celtic rock. Sea Horse Lounge

The Sea Horse Lounge, located at 2608 9th Street West in Bradenton, will serve shepherd’s pie, cabbage, ham and potatoes Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. The bar will also offer 50/50 raffles and offer a prize to the person best dressed in green. Learn more at the Facebook event page.

Craft Growlers To Go & Tasting Room

Join Craft Growlers To Go & Tasting Room at 8141 Lakewood Main Street in Bradenton Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m., for a St. Patrick’s Day street party. The event will feature music from Brett Conyers Walker and Irish dishes. Learn more at the Facebook event page.

Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub

Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub at 6218 Cortez Road W in Bradenton will host its annual St. Paddy’s Day bash Wednesday. According to the Suncoast Post, there will be live music and Irish dancers performing from 2 to 10 p.m.

Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille

Downtown Bradenton’s Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille at 101 Riverfront Blvd. will serve an authentic Irish meal Wednesday for St. Patrick’s Day. On the menu are Niman Ranch braised corned beef and cabbage and a Reuban sandwich.
