Specialty: Pizza and pasta

How long have you been cooking? 20 years. I started with my father at his pizza shop.

Do you cook at home? Yeah, mostly steaks and spaghetti

What is your favorite comfort food? Pasta é fagioli (an Italian garbanzo bean soup). It’s satisfying and I remember when my parents would have it at home as a kid.

Other than your restaurant, where else do you like to eat in Bradenton? Chili’s and Outback

A message from Chef Joe: I like cooking and running a restaurant. It’s nice having everybody enjoying and eating my food.

Other information: Diners at San Remo can choose from a selection of sandwiches, subs, soups, and salads. The restaurant also offers a full pasta dinner of either ravioli, lasagna, manicotti, spaghetti, eggplant parmigiana, chicken, veal parmigiana and more. And of course, San Remo has pizza, calzoni, sausage rolls and stromboli. All items on the menu are available for take out. San Remo also does catering.
