Early Voting Starts Saturday In Manatee County
Manatee County residents can start casting their votes early in the Aug. 23 primary election Saturday. Here's everything you need to know.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Manatee County voters will have a say in the Aug. 23 primary elections and early voting kicks off this weekend.
Starting Saturday and ending Aug. 21, voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots early each day from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections office website.
Early voting takes place at the following locations throughout the county:

- Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch
- Manatee County Utilities Admin Office, 4410 66th Street W., Bradenton
- Palmetto Library, 923 6th Street W., Palmetto
- Rocky Bluff Library, 6750 US Hwy 301, Ellenton
- Supervisor of Elections Office, 600 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton
Bring a valid and current photo and signature ID to vote.
While Florida is a closed primary state, where voters registered with a political party nominate their preferred candidate in various elections, the Aug. 23 primary ballot also includes nonpartisan races, including school board.
