Ellenton Man Shot In Leg During Attempted Robbery
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said a 20-year-old Ellenton man is recovering after being shot in the leg during an attempted robbery.
PARRISH, FL – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said a 20-year-old Ellenton man is recovering after being shot in the leg during an attempted robbery.
Andrew Alston and 21-year-old Dara Yisrael told deputies they were in the Kingsfield Estates subdivision in Parrish around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, when they were approached by three men who tried to rob them.
During the confrontation, Alston was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
