Entre Nous Awards Scholarships to 12 Local Students

Entre Nous awarded more than $28,000 in college scholarships to Manatee County Students.

Entre Nous is proud to announce they have awarded more than $28,000 in college scholarships to twelve Manatee County students. Entre Nous, a local women’s service club, hosts an annual Holiday Tour of Homes from which all proceeds go to college scholarships and community projects in Manatee County.

Scholarships are awarded to residents of Manatee County who display excellent academic achievement, community involvement, and exemplary student character and have a financial need. Scholarships awarded in 2015 were awarded to Hailey Clark, Valerie Douglas, Krista Edwards, Hale Inocente, Garrett Mitchell, Michael Moran, A’driana Sams, Kyra Senchyshak, Shauna Walker, Sky White, Krissy Williams, and Noah Williams.

“We are pleased to be a part of making so many dreams of attending college become a reality,” said Erin Williams, Entre Nous Scholarship Chairwoman.

Entre Nous is proud to have awarded over 450 scholarships to Manatee County students to date. Scholarship applications are available in January of each year. Candidate interviews are held in April of each year and the scholarship awards are announced in May. The scholarship is valid for only one year.

Entre Nous has served Manatee County for 84 years and has given well over a million dollars back to the community. 100% of the profits from their various fundraising efforts, including the annual Holiday Tour of Home and cookbook, Treasured Traditions are returned to the community.
