The Manatee County Health Department is hosting a weekly farm stand, open to the public. Greens on the Gro is a small farm based in Ellenton, who partners with other local farmers to bring you a wide variety of fresh, chemical-free produce, including kale, spinach, collard greens, kohlrabi, tomatoes, potatoes, herbs, and much more. Pre-ordering is available online from Friday evening through noon on Tuesday; place your order at http://floridasuncoast.locallygrown.net, pick it up at the Wednesday market, and you'll be guaranteed to get what you want! This farm stand makes it convenient and affordable to maintain a healthy diet, while supporting your local farmers!
