Fatal Shooting Victim Found Near Bradenton Club Identified: Sheriff
An up to $8,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest in the fatal shooting of Dwight Evans, Jr., Manatee sheriff said.
BRADENTON, FL — The fatal shooting victim found in a Bradenton parking lot early Monday morning has been identified as 33-year-old Dwight Evans, Jr., according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Evans was found with multiple gunshot wounds around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Gold Rush Arcade, 5107 14th Street W. The lot is used for overflow parking for Touch of Class, a night club, the agency said.
He was brought to Blake Hospital, where he later died, by EMS.

Homicide detectives are seeking information about what led up to the fatal shooting, as well as those responsible for Evans’ death.
MCSO and the Gold Star Club of Manatee County are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

This is in addition to the $3,000 reward offered by Manatee County Crime Stoppers.
