First Bank Helps Cast Wide Community Net At Desoto Seafood Festival

First Bank employees served as volunteer supporters at the United Way booth during the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society’s 2015 De Soto Seafood Festival. The event was held at Sutton and Lamb Park in downtown Palmetto.

Along with First Bank staff, First Bank provided the services of the First Bank Cash Cruiser and the Mobile ATM.

The Hernando De Soto Historical Society, Inc., is a not-for-profit, community organization of volunteer members who celebrate the historical significance of Spanish explorer Hernando De Soto’s landing near the mouth of the Manatee River in May 1539.
