Funeral Home Shooting Arrest Made In Bradenton: Police
A man living above a Bradenton funeral home opened fire on the parking lot after a service on Saturday, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — Detectives have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in the parking lot of Shannon Funeral Home on 14th Street W. on Saturday, Bradenton Police Department said in a news release.
Sean Phillips, 34, faces two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Investigators believe Phillips, who lives above the funeral home, opened fire on several people in the parking lot following a service, police said.

One person returned fire, hitting Phillips and a 13-year-old girl who also lives above the funeral home.
Phillips remains hospitalized, but when discharged he will be taken to Manatee County Jail. The girl who was injured is recovering at home.

The man who returned fire isn’t facing charges, police said.
