Gas Line Ruptures During Tree Removal At Bradenton Home: City
There were no injuries when a natural gas line ruptured at a Bradenton home during a tree removal Wednesday afternoon, the city said.
BRADENTON, FL — A 2-inch natural gas line ruptured Wednesday afternoon during a tree removal at a Bradenton home, the city wrote in a Facebook post.
There were no injuries during the incident, which happened just before noon at 1700 3rd Ave. W.
Crews from the Bradenton Fire Department and the Southern Manatee Fire Rescue Hazmat clamped the line to stop the leak just before 2 p.m., the city said.
