BRADENTON, FL — Bradenton residents saw an increase in golf cart thefts in December, authorities said.
“Be vigilant and take precautions when storing your golf carts,” Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
The agency offered the following tips to golf cart owners:- Secure your golf cart with a steering wheel lock or wheel lock.
- Ensure your surveillance cameras are functioning as expected.
- Consider installing motion lights and an aftermarket GPS.
- Be aware and report all suspicious activity.
