Goodwill Manasota, 106.5 CTQ partner to present 'Young Guns of Country'
Hot up-and-coming country artists to take over the 'Sarasota Opry Stage' for free show
Goodwill Manasota is partnering with 106.5 CTQ for “Young Guns of Country,” a show featuring some of country music’s hottest young acts, on Wednesday, July 29 at the “Sarasota Opry” (Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave.). Performers Drake White, The Cadillac Three, Cassadee Pope and Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, who is a Goodwill Ambassador, will appear on the “Sarasota Opry Stage,” sponsored by Cool Today.
“We have been very grateful for the ongoing support of 106.5 CTQ’s Maverick and Lulu, and iHeart Media,” said Goodwill Manasota president and CEO Bob Rosinsky. “We’re happy to partner with the station to support and promote this concert, which also provides us with a wonderful way to expose our organization and the work we do to potential new friends. We encourage local country fans to stop by a Goodwill retail store, pick up their free tickets and – who knows – they might even find a cowboy hat or boots to wear to the show!”
Doors open at 6:00pm. While this is a free show, tickets are required for entry; tickets are available at the eight primary Goodwill Manasota retail locations, while supplies last. Starting the week before the show, 106.5 CTQ listeners can win a pair of front row tickets and “Eat & Greet” passes from radio personalities Maverick and Lulu. Food and drinks will be available for purchase courtesy of Nancy’s BBQ. Sales of the “Eat & Greet” package, which includes food and two drink tickets, benefit Goodwill.
