Halloween 2015 Events Around Tampa Bay
Check out some of the region's spooky attractions and add others you know about to the list.

Hoping to scare up some fun this Halloween weekend?
Here are a few ideas from around the Tampa Bay area:
- A Nightmare on Franklin Street – The Tampa Theatre, 711 Franklin St., in downtown Tampa is playing host to an array of scary movies. Check out the theater’s website for a full listing www.tampatheatre.org. Prices do vary by show.
- Glazer Museum Halloween Party – The children’s museum is pulling out all the stops for this Halloween event. Set to take place at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 110 Gasparilla Plaza in Tampa, the party features costume parades, arts and crafts, indoor trick-or-treating and more. - Trick-or-Treating at the Mall – Gulf View Square Mall, 9409 U.S. 19 in Port Richey is pulling out the stops for “Mall-o-ween.” The event is open to kids ages 14 and under and features indoor trick-or-treating. The fun runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and kids are encouraged to wear their best costumes.
- Boo Bash – This event takes over Bright House Field, 601 N. Old Coachman Road, in Clearwater on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. It includes candy, hayrides, a costume parade and more. There is no charge.
- St. Petersburg Ghost Tour – This 90-minute walking tour covers downtown and the waterfront. It takes off from Sweet Divas Chocolates, 400 Beach Drive N.E. Tickets range from $10 to $15. To find out more, visit www.ghosttour.com.
- ZooBoo Kids – This event for kids 11 and under continues through Sunday at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Designed to be “fright free,” the event includes a corn maze, trick-or-treat stations, tunes and more. Visit www.lowryparkzoo.com for more details.
- Downtown Street party – This event takes place on historic Old Main Street in Bradenton from 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday. It features food, arts and crafts, live music and more. Old Main Street will be closed during the celebration.
- Fright Night – St. Armand’s Circle is pulling out the stops from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Sarasota. This event includes decorated shops, trick-or-treating for the kids, and a live performance of “Thriller” at 8 p.m. That show is being put on by the Sarasota High School Drama Department.
Other events around the Bay that are still going on include Scream-A-Geddon in Pasco County and Howl-O-Scream at Tampa’s Busch Gardens.
