Help Stuff the Charger
The Florida Highway Patrol has kicked off its Thanksgiving food drive.

The Florida Highway Patrol is calling on residents throughout the Tampa Bay region to help it collect food for less fortunate residents during its Stuff the Charger drive in advance of Thanksgiving.
The food drive began Monday and runs through Nov. 6.
During the event, troopers hope to collect as much food as possible to stuff Dodge Chargers for eventual delivery to food banks around the state on Nov. 6.

To make giving easy, the patrol has set up a number of drop off locations throughout the state. They include:
- 11305 N. McKinley Drive, Tampa
- 11319 Ponce DeLeon Blvd., Brooksville
- 17028 Ayers Road, Brooksville
- 6855 62nd Ave. N., Pinellas Park
- 3247 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland
- 5023 53rd Ave., Bradenton
- 4010 S. Tamaimi Trail, Venice
Items sought during the drive include nonperishable canned goods, dried goods, broth, nuts and evaporated milk.
