Jennifer Putnam Named Branch Manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate's Sarasota Central Office

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate has named Jennifer Putnam as the new Branch Manager of the company’s Sarasota Central office, where she will lead more than 50 independent sales associates.

An innovative and multi-faceted professional well-known in the community for her strong management, communication and strategic thinking skills, Putnam has a distinguished background that includes more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fields of real estate and education.

A licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Putnam most recently served as a broker-associate for Michael Saunders & Company. Prior to that, she was a high school principal and assistant principal with the Sarasota County School District. Her experience also includes administration positions with charter and public schools in Fort Myers and Michigan.

“I’ve opened two high schools and, believe it or not, real estate and managing a school are not very different,” Putnam remarked. “I look forward to utilizing my experience as an educator and vast local knowledge in guiding the Sarasota Central office and its affiliated sales associates to great success.”

Putnam holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education, a master’s in Instrumental Music Education and a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Administration with a minor in Business and Finance, all from Michigan State University. She holds post-broker licensing in Real Estate Investment and Brokerage Management, Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation and GREEN certification. She has received numerous professional awards in both real estate and education.
