To Fill Open Positions, Job Applicants Offered Hands-On Help At Manatee County Libraries

Manatee County government hopes to fill numerous job openings. Talent acquisition specialists will be at two libraries to help applicants.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL β€” To help fill a number of outstanding open positions in Manatee County government, the county is offering additional resources to job seekers.

Twice a week through the end of March, the county’s talent acquisition specialists will be at the Downtown Central Library and South Manatee Library branches to assist with job applications and employment questions.

β€œThis is an excellent opportunity for our applicants to see what positions we have available – right now,” said Kate Barnett, talent acquisition specialist.

Every Monday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Barnett and her team will be at the Downtown Bradenton library at 1301 Barcarrota Blvd. W. They’ll continue these visits through March 28.

That same team will be at the South Manatee branch at 6081 26th Street W. on Tuesday, from noon to 4 p.m., through March 22.

β€œWe can answer questions quickly and let potential colleagues know about positions that could be a good fit,” added Melissa Patrick, talent acquisitions specialist.

Manatee County currently has dozens of openings in a wide-ranging variety of positions.
