Join Cutting Loose Salon In Raising Funds for the Wallendas
Locals can help support those injured during high-wire fall from February at Circus Sarasota

On February 2nd, five people were injured when they fell 20 to 25 feet from a high wire at the Circus Sarasota while practicing for an upcoming show. At least two of the injured are members of the Wallenda family. Eight people were on the high wire at the time of the accident, including Nik Wallenda, who was serving as an anchor on the pyramid but did not fall off. Cutting Loose is helping raise funds for the Wallendas. Guests who donate a minimum of $10 while at any Cutting Loose Salon location will receive a gift from Cutting Loose.
The fund has been set up to assist in covering the necessary medical and rehabilitation expenses incurred by the performers. All expenses will be routed through the not-for-profit Nik Wallenda Family Foundation and will be distributed in their entirety to the injured performers. Any funds collected above and beyond the expenses will be distributed to a similar cause assisting injured performers from circus arts. Supporters can donate in the salon or online by visiting: https://www.youcaring.com/inju...
