Kobernick-Anchin-Benderson Unveils New Name and Branding
New Brand Ushers In Multiple Campus Changes, Captures Renewed Community Vitality

Kobernick-Anchin-Benderson, a landmark senior living community in Sarasota since 1993, unveiled its new name β Aviva: A Campus for Senior Life β and brand identity at an exclusive, invitation-only event held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
The special celebration was held in the grand rotunda where more than 200 guests, including residents of Aviva, board members, local business leaders, public officials and media, were in attendance to experience the launch of the new logo and name.
βThis is truly a new, exciting day for our community,β said Heidi Brown, CEO of Aviva. βThe name 'Aviva' captures the essence of the sense of renewal, connectivity and infinite possibilities that residents feel living here. While we are proud of our long history as trailblazers in Sarasota senior living, we are delighted to celebrate the 'rebirth' of our community and our steadfast commitment to the seniors and families we serve.β

The word βAvivaβ in Hebrew means spring, which reflects the organizationβs commitment to providing high-quality independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing & rehabilitation. The communityβs new tagline β Experience The Possibilities β stands as an invitation for seniors to experience all the exceptional lifestyles, compassionate care and world-class support available throughout the Aviva campus.
Aviva is now the overarching campus name, but the donor names for buildings and levels of living will endure, such as: Kobernick Independent Living, Anchin Assisted Living and Memory Care, and Benderson Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.

βOur new branding represents our dedication to excellence in senior living, builds market recognition and reinforces the trust weβve earned from our residents and their families,β said Randy Mallitz, Chairman of Avivaβs Operating Board. βThis was the dream of our founders, who believed that in the right environment every individual can maximize his or her potential. Our promise is to continue this dream, and to provide our residents with programs, services and campus enhancements that significantly improve the quality of life.β
Accompanying the communityβs re-branding are $1.4 million in sweeping updates, renovations and improvements in amenities and campus grounds, with a second phase of enhancements to include an integrated center for health and wellness and a multipurpose
venue anticipated to hold more than 225 people for resident and community events. The community also unveiled a new website, AvivaSeniorLife.org, to serve as an educational resource for prospective residents and their families.
On Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 1951 N. Honore Avenue on Sarasota the community will host a special Open House event.
