The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund's Newest Giving Circle to Host First Fundraising Event

The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund’s newest Giving Circle, Cheers for Charity, will host its first fundraising event on Thursday, June 25th from 5:30pm-8:30pm at the Polo Grill and Bar on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch. It is a Guest/Celebrity Bartending event with all of the tips and donations going to local charities. Everyone is invited to attend and guests are encouraged to wear their stars and stripes in preparation for the Independence Day holiday. There will be a photo booth by Peter Acker Photography, a DJ, a raffle and the women from the Giving Circle will be the bartenders for the evening. Be prepared to have some fun while raising contributions to local charities in need!

Cheers for Charity is the newest Giving Circle with the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund. It is a group of young, enterprising and professional women from Manatee and Sarasota Counties who are concerned about their community and want to make a positive difference. Cheers for Charity is now the sixth Women’s Giving Circle in Lakewood Ranch. Lakewood Ranch Women’s Giving Circles are a dynamic group of women bonded by friendship, shared interests and values in supporting organizations and programs in need. Each circle must have at least 10 members and commit to establishing a $10,000.00 minimum endowed fund to be a part of the Founders’ 50 of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund.

The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund operates under the Manatee Community Foundation and was developed to serve the people and interests of the Lakewood Ranch community, and allow donor-allocated funds to stay in the region, serving a variety of charitable interests. Since its inception, the fund has given out more than $1,000,000.00 in grants!
