(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) cafeteria staff is hosting a giveaway for the Class of 2020 throughout this week.

The staff wants to recognize seniors by giving away cookies and showing their appreciation during these extraordinary times.

LRHS cafeteria manager Amanda Farrelly said the event encourages seniors to show up to the giveaway and share a smile with fellow Mustangs.

“We decided to do this because as parents and café staff we felt for the seniors missing all the exciting end-of-the-year events. We wanted to let them know we’re thinking about them,” said Farrelly.

Seniors can stop by the front of the cafeteria building through Friday to enjoy the treat.
