Man Crossing Street Dies After Being Hit By SUV: Bradenton Police
A pedestrian was hit and killed by an SUV Monday morning while crossing 13th Street W. near 8th Avenue W., Bradenton police said.
BRADENTON, FL — A pedestrian was killed Monday morning while crossing 13th Street W., according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
The 81-year-old man was hit by an SUV traveling east on 8th Avenue W. around 7:30 a.m.
He wasn’t using the crosswalk when he was hit, police said.

He was brought to Blake Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Investigators are working to identify his next of kin.
The SUV’s driver remained on the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
