Man Sexually Battered Teenager: Manatee County Sheriff's Office
A Bradenton man confessed to sexually battering a 15-year-old, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A Bradenton man was accused of sexually battering a teenager, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Guadalupe Chapa Jr., 24, was arrested Monday morning and charged with sexual battery on a person under 18 years old.
On Sunday, his 15-year-old victim told a trusted friend about being sexually battered by a man, who is a family friend, on Friday, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives investigated the allegations and developed probable cause to arrest Chapa. While being interviewed, he confessed to the crime.
He is being held in Manatee County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
