Manatee Community Foundation Donates $5,000 to SCF Food Pantry
The Manatee County COVID-19 Community Response Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation has contributed $5,000 to SCF Food Pantry.

The Manatee County COVID-19 Community Response Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation has contributed $5,000 to the State College of Florida Foundation (SCFF) to be used in support of the SCF Food Pantry at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Bradenton.
The SCF Food Pantry is available to all SCF students. Students can be referred by any SCF faculty or staff member. There is no cost to the students who receive food from the pantry.
"This is a vital need as more and more students navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are very appreciative of this gift," said Michele Puls, assistant director of athletics and student activities at SCF Bradenton.

Established in 1998, the Manatee Community Foundation partners with area citizens to strengthen and enhance the community through philanthropy, education and service.
"We are so appreciative to the Manatee Community Foundation for helping food insecure students at SCF," said Cassandra Holmes, SCFF executive director.
