Manatee County Announces 10th Red Light Camera
Breaking: A month-long warning period has begun for motorists who get caught by Manatee County's 10th red light camera.

BRADENTON, FL β Motorists who travel along 53rd Avenue and U.S. 41 may want to take extra care to avoid running the light. Manatee County has announced the official start of a month-long warning period for a brand new red light camera.
The new camera monitors southbound traffic at the intersection. The warning period began Tuesday, Aug. 30 and remains in effect until Sept. 29. The new camera is the 10th for the county.
Once the warning period expires on Sept. 29, the county warns that motorists caught running the light could face fines up to $158.

Manatee Countyβs other red light camera locations are as follows:
- 34th Street West at 53rd Avenue West, northbound traffic
- 34th Street West at 53 avenue West, southbound traffic
- 15th Street East at 57th Avenue East, northbound traffic
- 15th Street East at 57th Avenue East, southbound traffic
- U.S. 301 at 60th Avenue East, northbound traffic
- State Road 70 at Tara Boulevard, westbound traffic
- 26th Street West at Cortez Road, southbound traffic
- Cortez Road and U.S. 41, westbound traffic
