Manatee County Sheriff Searches For Bank Robber

BRADENTON, FL -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo bank at 6285 14th St. W., Bradenton, Friday, Aug. 10 around 12:30 p.m.

According to the sheriff's office. a man entered the bank, approached a teller, implied he had a gun and demanded money.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

K9 deputies attempted to track the robber but lost his trail south of the bank near the ABC Liquor Store.

The robber is described as white, 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 to 180 pound and last seen wearing an orange Baltimore Orioles T-shirt and a dark hat.
