More Than 100 Jobs To Be Filled At Manatee County Hiring Expo
Manatee County will hold a hiring expo Aug. 26 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. Jobs could be offered on the spot.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Manatee County is hoping to fill more than 100 jobs at its Aug. 26 hiring expo at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.
Hiring managers from various county government departments will be available at the event and are prepared to make on-site conditional job offers to qualified candidates, the county said in a news release.
"Our hiring expo is an incredible opportunity for skilled workers, young professionals and anyone seeking a career in public service," Kim Stroud, the county’s human resources director, said. "I hope local job seekers will stop by and learn about our outstanding benefits and opportunities for a fulfilling career with Manatee County Government."

The hiring expo will run from 3 to 7 p.m., Aug. 26 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, which is located at 1 Haben Blvd. in Palmetto.

- Maintenance technicians and supervisors (Parks, Public Works and Utilities departments)
- Senior surveyor
- Custodian
- Industrial electrician
- Engineer, engineering technician and senior project engineer
- Beach lifeguard
- Paramedic
- Veterinary technician
- Customer service representative
- Bus operator
- Fiscal specialist
- Traffic signal technician
- Senior development review specialist
- Senior building trades worker
- Planner and senior planner
- Permitting technician and senior permitting technician
- Senior plans examiner inspections officer
- Code enforcement officer
Candidates are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumé and their DD214 if they are a veteran.
