Motorcyclist Identified in Fatal Bradenton Crash
The accident happened on University Parkway Wednesday afternoon.

A 72-year-old Bradenton man is dead following a Wednesday afternoon crash on University Parkway at 37th Street East.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kaitlin Marie Glover, 25, of Sarasota was heading westbound in the right lane of University Parkway around 3:36 p.m. At that same time, a 2011 Honda VF1300 ridden by Edwin Silance of Bradenton was heading west in the turn lane on University Parkway to turn onto 37th Street East.
Silance, troopers say, made an abrupt lane change into the right lane, riding into the path of Glover’s vehicle. The front right of Glover’s car struck the motorcycle.

Silance was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
