Motorcyclist Shoots At Delivery Truck In Road-Rage Incident

Roberto Velazquez, the motorcyclist, faces several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Bradenton police said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 35-year-old motorcyclist faces several charges after shooting at a delivery truck in a road-rage incident Tuesday in Bradenton.

Roberto Velazquez shot at the box truck after being cut off by its driver in the 700 block of Manatee Avenue West around noon, Bradenton police said in a news release.

After firing a single shot at the truck, Velazquez followed it to the 400 block of 9th Street West, police said. He and the truck driver were still there when police arrived.

Velazquez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle.
