New World Celts of Sarasota Announces the first Celtober Fest - Sarasota

SARASOTA, FL: The New World Celts - Sarasota are proud to announce the inaugural presentation of the Celtober Fest - Sarasota. This day long family friendly festival will be a one of kind event and a unique experience. At the festival, authentic Celtic and international cultural activities will be showcased for guests. Local and national musicians will be present, performing Celtic dance and traditional folk and Celtic rock music. The festival will be held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on Saturday October 29th.

“By presenting this festival, it is the goal of the NWC to have Celtober Fest - Sarasota, become one of the premiere Celtic Festivals in Florida,” said Deborah Dennis, Vice President of New World Celts - Sarasota. “Our festival will attract thousands of people to the Sarasota area each year. It will be a great day outside filled with cultural experiences and authentic Celtic performances. Our goal of the festival is to showcase the Celtic Heritage to guests and open their eyes to a new culture.”

Celtober Fest - Sarasota will feature music and different events throughout the day. Sarasota’s very own Blue Skye Pipe & Drum band will be performing during the festival for guests enjoyment. Other events at the festival will include Kids Zone, Highland Games Athletic demonstrations, Celtic Encampment and even more events to keep families occupied.
