BRADENTON, FL—The Manatee County School Board made no decision on a mask mandate for students on Wednesday at a regular meeting.

There was no official discussion among board members about masks in schools Wednesday, though several made comments echoing what they had said earlier in the week.

The board also held a special meeting Monday, one day before school started for the 2021-22 year. During that meeting, parents both in support of and against a potential mask mandate spoke to the board.
