Officer Adopts Kitten She Found During Patrol: Bradenton Police

A tiny kitten, now named Ollie, captured the heart of a Bradenton police officer while she was on patrol.

BRADENTON, FL — An officer recently welcomed a new family member — a kitten she encountered while on patrol, the Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

Officer Aquino Parnau found the tiny kitten while on the job “and the cat burglar stole her heart,” the department wrote, adding that “this tiny kitten is charged with purr-petrating a crime against” the officer.

Parnau called her fiancée “to take custody of the offender, who was booked, bathed, named Ollie, and given a life sentence to be spent with” their family, the agency said.
