Parrish Woman Critically Injured In U.S. 301 Pileup
A Parrish woman sustained critical injuries in a crash on U.S. 301 east of Palm Boulevard Friday, Oct. 5 at 11:55 a.m.

PARRISH, FL -- A Parrish woman sustained critical injuries in a crash on U.S. 301 east of Palm Boulevard Friday, Oct. 5 at 11:55 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Angela S. Starkey, 34, of Lakeland was driving her Hyundai west on U.S. 301 behind a Honda CRV driven by Rebecca F. Smith, 69, of Parrish when a Toyota Highlander driven by Jessica R. Adair, 34, of Bradenton stopped ahead. Smith slowed down after seeing the stopped Highlander and Starkey collided with the rear of Smith's Honda. The impact caused the front of the Honda to hit the back of the Highlander.
Smith was airlifted to Blake Medical Center with critical injuries.
