
BRADENTON, FL — A man is dead following a Sunday night crash on U.S. 41 near 50th Avenue Plaza West.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Tiffany Balogh, 24, of Bradenton was heading south on U.S. 41 just after 8 p.m. As Balogh neared the intersection of 50th Avenue Plaza West, a man walked into her vehicle’s path, a highway patrol report said.
Balogh did not see the man and struck him with the Tahoe. The pedestrian may have also been struck by a northbound vehicle, the highway patrol noted.

The man’s name and age have not yet been released.
Troopers are asking anyone with information about a possible second vehicle to contact Cpl. Wilmeth at 941-751-8357.
