SCF Financial Aid Director Elected President of FASFAA
Thomas Vo, Financial Aid Director for State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has been elected president of state Financial Aid Admins.

Thomas Vo, Financial Aid Director for State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) has been elected president of the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA). The not-for-profit educational corporation is made up of more than 700 financial aid professionals.
FASFAA helps develop and maintain professional standards of financial aid administration and promotes student financial aid programs that are consistent with good professional practice. The organization’s programs and services are designed to promote an awareness of financial aid to students, parents and the education community. It also helps foster professional competency among financial aid administrators and guidance counselors.
As president, Vo will oversee the organization’s budget, chair all meetings and communicate financial aid issues and concerns to state and federal legislators. During Vo’s term as president, an SCF student in need will receive a scholarship from FASFAA.
